Calathea lancifolia or rattlesnake calathea is are known for their brightly colored wavy leaves with purple undersides. During the day their leaves are horizontal to photosynthesize and at night their leaves stand up vertically resembling prayer hands. This plant is PET SAFE according to the ASPCA!
Light: Thrives in Indirect bright light or filtered light. Doesn’t like direct sunlight during the day.
Water: Water thoroughly when top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry
