ROOTING JOY

Riza, which translates to ‘Roots” in Greek, is Napa’s first botanical boutique on First Street in Downtown Napa. Riza specializes in curating high quality indoor plants for customers, along with educating them on how to properly care for their plants in the long term. We cultivate a sense of community for our clients that revolves around bringing nature indoors. 

The mission of Riza is to educate and spread joy on how awesome plants can be, and how they benefit your everyday life. We take the time and patience to help plant lovers, of all levels, find and care for their new greenery.

We're on the hunt for two individuals who are passionate about plants to join our vibrant team at Riza!The ideal candidate will have a desire to teach and inspire others, while also working hard to ensure we provide a valuable service to our customers. The work we do will require a high level of energy and a positive attitude. 

ROLES: 

1. In-Store Plant Specialist: We're seeking a dynamic individual who enjoys working with plants and interacting with customers. This role involves advising customers on the best plant choices for their personality and environment, as well as educating knowledge on plant care. The ideal candidate will be skilled at multitasking, have a lively personality, and won't shy away from hands-on work – literally getting their hands dirty!

2. Plant Maintenance Consultant (Traveling Role): This role involves traveling to various clients, ensuring all their plants are at their peak health and aesthetic condition. This position requires availability starting from two days a week, with a preference for Thursdays.

Requirements:

• Loves plants and has a basic understanding of plant care, knowledge and identification.
• Availability on weekends (plant specialist) and weekdays with possible Sundays (consultant).
• Drivers license and vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Compensation: D.O.E

Bonus Incentives: 40% off select houseplants.
